Today, an artist with a unique sound... and title...
It's always fun when Pop stars give themselves a title. You got the King of Pop, The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, The Prince of Darkness... as you can see, most of the big ones are taken. But sometimes an artist can carve out their own little niche to reign over. Like Asha Puthli, the "Original Indian Diva of Jazz, Soul and Funk". Who's gonna argue with that? Not this guy. Mostly because I can name not one other Indian Diva of Jazz, Soul and Funk. So I guess you got this thing wrapped up, girl...
It's just that little bit off, innit? Just that little bit weird... and I'm pretty sure that's what gives it the awesome...
